With a presence stretching from Johannesburg to Vancouver, Sydney to Lima, you are part of a global brand that supports creativity, fosters innovation, and encourages you to think big, share ideas and be yourself.Job PurposeThis strategic financial partner role will be responsible for supervising, -collaborating, and -developing the Corporate Planning and Financial Reporting function, to collate and produce financial information and analysis on the results, plans and forecasts, advice and service to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness, enable informed decision making, protect Company's assets and promote Commitments and Values.If you consider yourself someone who can apply technical know-how to create practical solutions in a dynamic and team-oriented environment, this is a great opportunity to work side by side with some of the biggest innovators in the Mining technology industry.Travel RequirementsJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesPromote Safety and Compliance including Komatsu Commitments (Safety, Compliance, Quality, Delivery and Financial Results) and Code of Conduct.Promote and assist in the Continuous improvement and adherence of global company policies, controls, business procedures, and business systems/tools to improve business efficiency and effectiveness, mitigate risks and prevent fraud.Manage, coach, and develop the Reporting and Planning team, balancing their growth and development with business needs, succession planning, risk mitigation considerations, and ensuring zero fraud and zero harm.Assist in the Management budget and rolling forecast cycles to ensure robust and meaningful projections of financial performance of the global P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and other required metricsManagement of Planning Tools including training/support/response to queries, uploading of actual results on a timely basis, and review/analysis to ensure robust and timely Rolling Forecasts and PlansReview and analyze financial data and reports by Legal entity and Management Accounts (for both MMS and MTS) ensuring GAAP compliance in order to prepare to Consolidate Financial Statements in a timely mannerCoordinate the timely completion of all reporting packages for Komatsu on results, plans, and forecasts, being able to clearly identify and communicate a cohesive and concise story around business drivers behind financial. Also, provide a timely and professional response to any queries/requestsGeneration of Management reports providing necessary explanations and analysis to enable business leaders to identify variances and opportunities for improvement and make informed business decisionsProvide timely, professional & constructive feedback to regions/divisions after reporting and forecasting cycles to guarantee continuous improvement -Maintain MTS SharePoint pages for orderly retention of records -Assist in the development and maintenance of MMS Accounting Policies and the rollout of Komatsu Accounting PoliciesAssist on projects and/or other Global activities as required.Required Skills5 years Senior Finance Planning and Reporting experience (including consolidation of financial statements) and 3 years management experience -Extensive Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS - ideally including revenue recognitionInnovative finance professional with ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environmentAn intelligent, dynamic, and innovative professional who can execute in a timely manner, drive change and influence people at all levelsPractical, results-oriented team builder with analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.IT savvy with excellent Microsoft O365 skills and strong ERP experienceAbility to work independently and within a team environment, and able to make well-reasoned and timely decisions.Outstanding communication and presentation skillsMust have the ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks under monthly and quarterly close deadlinesMust bring a process improvement/work simplification mindset.Desired SkillsExperience working with multiple currencies and in a multinational company preferredAdaptive Insight experience desiredBusiness Degree in Accounting and CPA preferredWhat are the benefits of being a part of Modular?
