Job Description:
About the role: The Accountant is responsible for the financial
activities throughout AB46 Investments, LLC. This role will report
to the CFO and assist -with reports, asset and liability tracking,
and budgeting. Primary duties will include managing accounts
payable and receivable, coordinating cash flow, maintaining
financial records, and producing expense reports and audits. -What
you'll be doing:
Performing general cost accounting
and related duties in the Finance department.Preparing balance
sheets, income statements, and cash flow worksheets.Maintaining the
general ledger.Recording and verifying invoices and
transactions.Tracking and reconciling accounts receivable on a
periodic basis.Monitoring expenses and verifying balances and
accounts payable.Preparing tax filings in accordance with state and
industry regulations.Assisting with preparing budgets, cost
projections, and financial analyses as needed.Conducting informal
audits periodically and formal financial audits on an annual
basis.Other duties as assigned. -What you need to succeed:
Knowledge of general accounting
principlesFamiliarity with financial rules and regulationsEffective
communication skillsStrong organizational skillsData management
skillsMastery of QuickBooks or other accounting softwareExpertise
in Microsoft Excel (Google Sheets, a plus)Proficient with Microsoft
Office Suite, G Suite, or related programsFamiliarity with
LeafLogix or inventory software, a plus -You should also have:
Must be 21 years of age and pass a
criminal background check.Knowledge of Arizona marijuana laws and
regulations or willingness to learn.Must maintain current knowledge
and adhere to all policy and regulations of AZDHS, HIPAA, and AZ
state regulations.Bachelor's -degree in accounting, finance,
business administration, or other related discipline, required.At
least 2 years' experience of accounting or transferable experience,
required. -Physical requirements:
Sitting for prolonged periods of
time.Light work that includes moving objects up to 20
pounds.Repetitive motion that may include wrists, hands, or
