University Services Building, 1551 S. Rural Road, Tempe, AZ (on
Rural Road south of Apache Blvd). This position requires that you
must possess a valid Arizona driver's license (minimum of Class D)

employment, selected candidate must possess an acceptable driving
record which is 5 or fewer points in the most recent 39-month
period from date of hire. This position is considered
safety/security sensitive and will include a fingerprint check.

the day before the posted End Date. Job Description: Capital
Programs Management Group seeks a Closeout Specialist Sr to
coordinate and communicate with General Contractors and Design
Professionals to gather and file all the contractually-required
documents for FDM’s capital projects. Essential Duties: Coordinate
directly with external companies (General Contractors and Design
Professionals) to ensure documents are collected, verified and
saved to project folders. Coordinate with internal staff including
Capital Project Managers, Capital Planning Services, and ASU
Permitting. Interpret requirements and authorize exceptions to
policy within defined limits. Coordinate or perform data
collection, analysis, reporting, documentation and other duties to
ensure accurate and timely processing or development of required
reports. Recommend new or revised document-handling procedures.
Coordinate and implement approved changes in procedures affecting
assigned function. Update affected procedure manuals. Maintain unit
documents such as spreadsheets. Ensure adherence to procedure and
monitor/checks for accuracy. Coordinate, schedule and track
progress of obtaining and verifying vendor documents. Respond
verbally or in writing to inquiries, complaints, or problems and
make necessary adjustments. Act as the primary contact for vendor
documents with our vendors. Respond to administrative questions and
ensure necessary follow up. Participate in special projects with
staff as directed. DAYS AND SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am –
5:00 pm Salary rate: $21.73 - $22.68 per hour. ASU offers a

skills Working Environment: Activities are primarily performed in a

period of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse;
required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate
distances to perform work. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting,
pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds. Minimum Qualifications: High
School Diploma and three years (3) experience appropriate to the
area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of
experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills
