Overview Do you have a passion for combining expertise in technology with creative marketing skills, and do you understand how both are critical to maintaining a corporate brand? Then you might be a fit for Rain Bird---s Digital Marketing Technologist role, which will help drive the future of Rain Bird---s global brand through marketing automation, data analytics, and website management, among other responsibilities. The primary focus of the Digital Marketing Technologist is ensuring company-wide marketing strategies complement and positively influence Rain Bird---s overall goals. In this role, you will choose and implement solutions like content management or tag management systems, search engine optimization, ensure consistency across company marketing systems, and recommend and use tools to track and analyze data. (Based in Tucson, AZ) Responsibilities Collect, review and analyze metrics related to all marketing tactics, making improvements accordingly and presenting regularly to internal constituents. Provide research-based, data-centered information to support campaigns, programs, constituent engagement, content design and development. Collaborate across SBUs to plan and execute campaigns and strategies that drive high engagement. Create and maintain protocols and conventions for marketing tools. Collaborate with all Rain Bird SBUs to identify customer relationship management (CRM) needs as they pertain to marketing, and manage and administer any future adoption or integration processes of marketing technologies. Design and develop Rain Bird the website at rainbird.com, and update and maintain the website to ensure state-of-the-art form and function. Form and lead a cross-company team to ensure consistent look and feel across all public Rain Bird web presences and actively seek to increase web traffic and lead generation via company website. Develop specialized digital jump pages and mini-sites for special programs and campaigns. Assure that sites perform well, across browsers and platforms. Optimize site(s) for search engine performance and report on critical benchmarks. Interface and troubleshoot with the IT, acting as a SPOC between marketing and IT and building capability in the organization, from a regional to global scale. Stay current on digital technologies, new programs and capabilities. Provide recommendations for better ways to use digital technologies for marketing efforts. Help nontechnical marketers craft better campaigns, programs and customer experiences that effectively leverage software and data. Deliver insights from data sets in digital/media/e-commerce. Additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience. Familiarity with Drupal and other content management systems. Familiarity with marketing technology best practices. Passion and experience in marketing and technology. Ability to track and prioritize requests, and resolve potential conflicts. Proven Experience/Certifications/Skills:Google Analytics Google Data Studio Google Ads HTML/CSS/SQL/Java Strong thinking/problem-solving skills which can be applied to business processes with a "can-do" attitude. Desired Qualifications Master---s degree in marketing, computer science, data analytics or related field. An understanding of the irrigation markets, products and practices (or close adjacencies such as building products). E-commerce, CRM, SEO experience. Ability to speak multiple languages.
