Job Description:
At GEICO, a leader in auto insurance known for innovation and
commitment to customer satisfaction, we are seeking a Roadside
Service Dispatcher to join our dynamic customer support team. This
role is crucial in providing timely and efficient roadside
assistance to our customers during their times of need, ensuring
their safety and reducing any inconvenience. The Roadside Service
Dispatcher will work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with
service providers and customers to facilitate emergency services.
Answer and manage incoming calls for roadside assistance.
Coordinate and dispatch the appropriate service providers to the
incident locations. Monitor the progress of roadside assistance and
update customers on ETA and service status. Maintain accurate
records of calls, dispatches, and services provided. Work closely
with team members to identify and resolve any issues with service
providers or customer requests. Handle customer inquiries and
complaints professionally and efficiently. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills Proficiency in computer systems and dispatch
software Ability to handle stressful situations and make decisions
quickly Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Customer-oriented mindset with an emphasis on empathy and service
quality Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Certifications in Emergency Dispatch, Customer
Service, or related fields are a plus.
