Employees are involved in direct patient care (in a clinic, in-home care, etc.) Positions in this function require education/certification/licensure as an Occupational, Physical, Respiratory or Speech Therapist. Positions are responsible for providing appropriate therapy in a clinical or in-home care setting.Primary Responsibilities:

• Interact with participants to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Support scheduled activities are scheduled to meet the physical, intellectual, social and emotional needs of participants
• Lead activities and classes as needed
• Foster relationships with contracted instructors
• Engage surrounding community to attract new participants to programs
• Applies knowledge/skills to activities that often vary from day to day
• Demonstrates a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function
• Requires little assistance with standard and non-standard requests
• Solves routine problems on own
• Works with supervisor to solve more complex problems
• Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Certified Fitness Instructor
  • Excellent interpersonal communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • CPR/AED
  • You will be provisioned with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are required to perform this role with patients and members on site, as this is an essential function of this role
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.
