Brine Processing for Chemical Extraction Brine Chemical Engineer
for Boron Bromine Iodine Lithium Magnesium Strontium Extraction TRU
Group Brine Team seeks technical chemical engineering expert in all
aspects of processing brines (salty water) for the extraction of
value-added chemicals such as B, Br, I, Li, K, Mg and Sr. Brines
sources include those generated by industry (such as the oil & gas
petroleum (produced water), geothermal, mining and tail brines of
the chemical industries but also the natural brines of salt lakes,
salars, brackish, groundwater and sea water. The TRU Group concept
is to treat brines to first extract valuable chemicals (such as
bromine-bromide, iodine, lithium, borates, potash and chlor alkali)
from the brine and then purify to permit reuse or discharge to
rivers or lakes or other use in an environmentally friendly manner.
Candidate should be knowledgeable of the latest state-of-the-art
(disruptive) extraction from brine purification technologies, in
particular those that work and those that do not! A university
degree in chemical engineering preferred but other engineering
degrees with appropriate brine processing experience would be good
too. Please send your resume demonstrating strong expertise and
substantial experience in all aspects of brine process chemistry
engineering as soon as possible
