Job Description:

Nesco Engineering and IT is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work in Tucson Arizona. Mechanical Engineer needed to participate in design reviews, development and testing to assess performance against design specification; reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions.--Assist in the development of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions. Must be proficient in Solidworks, GD&T Trained, Design for Manufacturability, Design for Reliability, Design for Serviceability, Excellent technical writing skills, Microsoft Office Suite.Job to include:* Direction is provided by more senior engineering staff, management or project leader.* Participates in efforts to define new components, products or processes and identify technical challenges. * Makes suggestions to improve work processes. * Creates potentially patentable components for systems, or processes.* Plans and executes assigned projects; utilizes thorough technical and theoretical understanding of numerous techniques. * Analyzes data, evaluates results, forms conclusions and provides/implements process or document improvements.* Applies advanced engineering knowledge to projects. * Executes experiments; participates in experimental design. * Utilizes DOE where appropriate.QUALIFICATIONS:Must Demonstrate related experience with the following skills and abilities:* The ability to develop and articulate mechanical and instrument requirements based on Customer needs and System Architecture* The ability to quickly formulate design solutions (Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, etc.) to achieve requirements* The ability to compile, document, and present, as needed, the design concepts and the design history, rationale, and justification, and the ability to navigate (or learn to navigate) the PLM system for archiving the design historyFormal Training/Education: BS degree or equivalent in a directly related discipline and--minimum of 4 years of related experienceIf interested, please apply now!Nesco Resource and affiliates (Lehigh G.I.T Inc, and Callos Resource, LLC) is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.
