Job Summary:The Test Equipment and Environments Center (TE&EC)
includes all the engineering disciplines responsible for systems
design & test on all Raytheon Missile Defense products. Our
engineers are responsible for all elements of the development
lifecycle for test including: test requirements, test system
design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop,
computer-in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technology,
flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental
testing, environmental characterization and engineering laboratory
management. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology
and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the
most advanced engineering systems in the world.
Within TE&EC, the Test Operations & Environments (TO&E)
Department includes the Environmental Test (ET) organization. ET is
an engineering organization that supports all missile programs
across Missiles and Defense. The ET organization provides testing
capability for every phase of the product life cycle from prototype
to production. Environmental testing includes mechanical shock,
electrodynamic vibration, salt fog, climatic environments such as
temperature, humidity, and altitude, high temperature quartz lamp
testing, structural testing, and custom instrumentation
installations and data acquisition support.We value diverse skills

Job Description:
The Systems Engineer is responsible for executing a variety of
environmental tests while collaborating in an integrated product
(IP) team environment with fellow ET Test Engineers, ET Support
Engineers, and internal engineering customers. The Systems Engineer
will work within the IP team to develop the best methods for
implementing tests to meet customer requirements and is responsible
for all aspects of the test including test design and setup,
equipment control and monitoring, and data collection and
validation. The Systems Engineer is responsible for performing
troubleshooting and adjustment of both the equipment and test setup
when technical issues arise. The Systems Engineer will work in a
Multi-Program Closed Area and report to the Environmental Test
Operations Manager within the Systems Integration and Test
Directorate.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to
the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens
are eligible for a security clearance.
