Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION The Maintenance Technician may complete required tasks and/or work with external resources to complete those tasks, which may include planning, prioritizing, monitoring and inspecting the work of contracted vendors in the construction, modification, maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities and equipment. Items may include air compressors, cooling towers, pump systems, test equipment, electric motors and test equipment infrastructure. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES --- Maintain and perform basic service on all equipment, pumps, and motors --- Develop an equipment maintenance schedule and maintain the equipment to that schedule --- Perform or coordinate performance of, all calibrations and maintain calibration Spreadsheet and calibration certificates files --- Maintain sanitizing chlorine levels in the RGA test tanks throughout the facility --- Document critical maintenance procedures and release the procedures --- Coordinate the annual maintenance of larger systems (e.g. - pump station, cooling towers, reservoir cleanout, etc.) per schedule --- Assemble new equipment at the site, commission, and validate the finished equipment --- Quickly resolve equipment issues to maximize equipment availability --- Support initiatives (5S, Kaizen, etc.) as necessary in support of improved performance and safety --- Issue and track purchase orders for maintenance parts and activities --- If test demand warrants, work with Test Techs to test product until demand subsides --- Perform all work neatly, with excellent craftsmanship, and in accordance with all safety policies
