Storage Area Network SMEThe Storage Area Network (SAN) SME provides services in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will provide recommendations to the Government pertaining to industry vision and strategic direction regarding enterprise system design, system implementation, system optimization, system enhancement, systems management processes and storage capabilities. You will support implementation and standardization of storage area networks on the NIPRNET and SIPRNET in the Army DoDIN. We are looking to hire a full-time SAN SME to support our IT services contract located at Fort Huachuca, AZ.Provide planning, design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to the ADCNOMS project.Industry experience with storage systems and related components to include the following: Disk Control and Array Frames, SAN Fabric switches and Fiber channel Switches, Storage Monitoring and Management Tools, and Data Encryption Appliances.Design and implementation of SAN and NAS along with engineer level knowledge of designing, administering and troubleshooting, storage.Microsoft Windows and UNIX/LINUX systems supporting Microsoft SQL, Oracle Real Application Clusters, and Remedy ITSM applications.Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Microsoft Visio.EducationBA/BS or equivalent experienceQualifications/Certifications DoD 8570.1-M certification: IAT Level III CertificationComputing Environment Certification, NetApp Certified Data Administrator (or equivalent)Clearance: Secret8 - 10 years of experience in information technology field About Our WorkWe are GDIT.
