Job Description Will be performing duties as a Data Collector
supporting the Electronic Proving Ground (EPG) at Ft Huachuca, AZ.
The employee will monitor the operation of a variety of test
equipment utilizing established methods or procedures specified by
test officials. The employee will receive initial instructions,
equipment requirements, and advice from the section supervisor or
Task Lead, as needed. All work is reviewed for technical adequacy
or conformity with instructions.This is not all inclusive and there
may be other duties/responsibilities required.May be asked to
operate system in test (training will be provided). May be asked to
work alternate shifts (days or nights), 6 days a week.*This list is
not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include
other duties and responsibilities.Qualifications CTLC
Requirements:High School Diploma and 3 years' experience, or any
equivalent combination of relevant education and
experience.Essential Functions for PositionPhysical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer
screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to:
bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in
a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to
parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long
distances may be required. Exerts up to 50 lbs. of force
occasionally, up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, or up to 10 lbs.
of force constantly to move objects.Work Environment Working
outside in the various weather elements (rain, snow, wind,
sunshine, etc.) associated with the local areaurrounding Fort
Huachuca & Sierra Vista. May be working in a confined space like a
HMMWV military vehicle. Will beoutside working out on the desert
terrain with uneven inclines and slopes.Equipment and Machines
Operators must have the ability to visually see objects close in on
a small tablet/laptop computers or "smart" phones.Operators must be
proficient and able to type information, on a virtual keyboard, on
a computer tablet or laptop.Attendance Regular hours will be
variable, depending on the workload requiring to be met. When
actively working, the workinghours can be between Monday - Saturday
6:00am - 6:00pm (subject to change based on test requirements).
Regularattendance of scheduled hours is extremely important.
Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meetdeadlines.
Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge
situations based on critical mission requirements. Youcould be
required to work an evening/midnight work schedule.Other Essential
Functions Must always demonstrate professional behavior when
dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear,
concise, and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal
and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the
position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others.
Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and
communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal
transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and
from customer's locations and the test fields may be required to
support projects. This may involve airline travel. In some cases,
accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary. When
operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in
addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in
motion.Additional InformationRequired Education, Training, and
Experience:Educational Requirement vary, depending on
position.Basic computer skills are also required. Operators must be
able to carry 30lbs radio equipment in a pack on their back, walk
approximately 3 miles a day, and stand for up to five hours at a
time while carrying a tablet computer and other instrumentation
devices. Operators must have the ability to visually see objects
close on a small tablet computer. Ability to drive vehicles with
trailers is strongly preferred. Must be able to obtain a Secret
security clearance.High School Diploma and 3 years' experience, or
any equivalent combination of relevant education and
experience.Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces will automatically
