-Raytheon is seeking an RF engineer that has hands on integration
and troubleshooting experience across RF systems. The individual
will need to map requirements to measured results as part of
performing integration.Responsibilities To Anticipate
- Lead RF architecture trades and design activities for
developmental programs within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL)
organization.
- Perform RF system calibration activities within HWIL facilities
to support system signal presentation
- Lead RF troubleshooting and failure investigation activities
within HWIL facilities.
- Assist in generating requirements, statements of work, and
verification plans for RF and anechoic chamber systems, to support
HWIL design activities.
- Work in a team environment in HWIL facilities which support the
full lifecycle of system development and sustainment
activities.What You Will Learn
- System level knowledge of developmental programs within
HWIL.
- Advanced signal generation and presentation, across IF and RF
RADAR environments
- Working across multi-disciplined group of
engineers.Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology,
Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of
relevant experience.
- Experience with RF electronics design and/or experience with RF
antennas
- Active and transferrable US government issued Secret security
clearance (not interim) is required prior to start date. US
citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a
security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer
- Understanding of calibration/characterization of RF signal
generation systems
- Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as
well as written and oral communication skills
- Existing Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
clearance
- Knowledge and experience with Windows and Linux operating
systems
- Knowledge of or experience with software languages such as
Java, C, C++, or similar languages
- Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as
data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, logic
analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzersWhat We

salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary
range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all
experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an
