Effector RF Products team is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer
to join our team in Tucson, AZ. This role offers the opportunity to
work on sensor, radome, and sensor measurement system technologies
while contributing to innovative defense solutions. In this
position, you will be responsible for advancing sensor and radome
designs and ensuring system performance meets program and customer
requirements. As the RF Sensor System Responsible Engineering
Authority (REA), you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
and suppliers to achieve technical excellence. This position is an
onsite role based in Tucson, AZ, with occasional travel within the
U.S. required. What You Will Do: - Contribute to the development
and detailed design of sensor or radome hardware and requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary engineering teams, including
thermal, structural, mechanical, and systems engineering. - Create
and review documentation for sensor system testing, including
analyses, schematics, interface drawings, test plans, and
specifications. - Work closely with sensor manufacturing suppliers.
- Analyze simulation and test data to verify performance against
requirements. Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires a
Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology,
Engineering, Mathematics) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant
experience, or 3 years with a related advanced degree, with any
combination of the following: - Experience contributing to sensor
designs through concept trades/studies, preliminary design, final
design, and / or qualification. - Experience using simulation and
modeling tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi, PMM, and/or GRASP.
- Experience with sensor measurements within near-field systems.
Qualifications We Prefer: - Master of Science (MS) in Electrical
Engineering. - Familiarity with high-power planar near-field
measurement systems. - Knowledge of planar near-field to far-field
processing algorithms. - Experience maturing sensor technologies to
higher Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) or Manufacturing Readiness
Levels (MRL). - Solid understanding of radar principles. -
Experience analyzing and presenting technical data to stakeholders.
- Strong sensor supplier and customer support experience. -
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Proven
ability to manage multiple priorities and execute technical plans
effectively. - Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration within
a team environment. - Experience participating in or presenting to
boards such as Failure Review Board (FRB), Engineering Review Board
(ERB), Change Control Board (CCB), or Manufacturing Review Board
(MRB). - Knowledge of designing and measuring complex multi-layer
radomes. - Proficiency in scientific programming languages such as
Python or MATLAB. - Familiarity with high-performance computing

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated
Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of
Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.

for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range
provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience
levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer,
