Defense Systems (ASDS) organization is currently hiring a Tech
Refresh Systems Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for the
StormBreaker Tech Refresh program to join our Tucson, AZ location.
ASDS IPTL roles offer an exciting and challenging environment where
you will lead multi-disciplinary teams and deliver innovative
solutions for our customers. In this role, you will apply the
Systems V engineering life cycle and collaborate with engineering
disciplines, Chief Technologists, and the customer to ensure
successful refresh and integration of subsystems into the
StormBreaker All-Up Round (AUR) strategy. As the Tech Refresh
Systems IPTL, you will lead efforts to ensure the qualification,
verification, and specification updates of subsystems while
managing safety, reliability, and logistics. You will work closely
with management and cross-functional teams to align subsystem
updates with overall program objectives. This is an onsite role
located in Tucson, AZ. What You Will Do Lead and manage efforts in
qualification and verification of updated subsystems. Develop and
maintain specifications and ensure compliance with program
requirements. Oversee the management of safety, reliability, and
logistics for tech refresh activities. Work with multiple teams and
pillars to ensure subsystem updates integrate effectively into the
All-Up Round (AUR) strategy. Collaborate closely with management
and stakeholders to ensure alignment with program priorities and
deliverables. Support system design and verification testing,
including data collection and trade studies to guide
decision-making processes. Facilitate cross-functional
collaboration and promote knowledge transfer across teams. Serve as
a Control Account Manager (CAM) for the tech refresh effort,
managing cost and schedule performance. Provide technical briefings
and updates to program management and key stakeholders. Lead and
participate in failure investigations (e.g., RCCA, FRB, FITs) as
needed. Ensure technical rigor of documentation and processes
throughout the tech refresh lifecycle. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant
experience. Experience with qualification and verification
processes. Experience with managing and updating specifications in
a production or development environment. Experience with safety,
reliability, and logistics management. Experience with integrating
subsystems into larger systems like All-Up Rounds (AUR). Active and
transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is
required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only
U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications
We Prefer Advanced degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a
related field . Experience working in a production environment and
managing tech refresh efforts. Knowledge of the Systems V
engineering life cycle. Proficiency in tools like Cameo for system
modeling and process development. Experience acting as a Control
Account Manager (CAM). Strong communication and presentation skills
with the ability to brief senior program management and customers.
Familiarity with the StormBreaker program or similar weapon

role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
