Job DescriptionThe RNRS Finance Team in El Segundo, CA is seeking a highly motivated Business Manager to join the Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) Mission Area of RI&S.This is an opportunity within the Resilient Navigation and Reconnaissance Solutions (RNRS) area to support the Airborne portfolio as the Business Manager for the F-35 & Global Hawk programs. This position reports to the Finance Manager for the Weapons and Airborne program portfolio and manages multiple financial analysts. The Business Manager role provides leadership in all financial aspects to the Airborne programs and is responsible for meeting all program financial requirements. This position requires proactive leadership and significant interaction with Program Directors, Program Managers, and representatives from all other functional teams to ensure alignment regarding strategic and financial objectives. The Airborne portfolio consists of a wide range of programs including Production, Development, & Sustainment contracts. In addition to executing the Airborne contracts, this position works in collaboration across all functions in support of Capture and proposal activities, Gate reviews, and contract negotiations. In addition, the selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints. This position requires the ability to conduct financial planning and analysis, control guidance, as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of leadership. This candidate will collaborate with the program team and functional leads to ensure the successful execution of quarterly EACs, monthly program management reviews, AOP development, and monthly forecasting. The ideal candidate will have strong written & verbal communication skills, good presentation skills, and the ability to help frame and communicate financial analysis to various levels of leadership.Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to the following:Support customer meetings and contract negotiationsProvide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, reporting, monitoring, and analysis support, utilizing standard company tools, and in compliance with standard processes.Support and review of customer deliverables including multiple IPMRsReviews financial reports, presentations and bids for accuracy and completeness.Responsible for reviewing and analyzing contract modifications for financial correctness.Manage several direct reports and responsible for direct reports--- performance and provide guidance regarding career development planRequired Skills:6 years of related finance work experienceMicrosoft Office ProficiencyFamiliarity with EV principles and artifacts including the EV Directive, Control Account Documents, Secondary Work Authorizations, BCRs, Program Log and Responsibility Assignment MatrixDesired Skills:Excellent prioritization and organizational skillsAbility to interpret and provide financial leadership on policies and proceduresExcellent professional communication skills, verbal and writtenWorking knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts, related systems, and processesDemonstrated experience with SAP accounting system toolsBudgeting and variance analysis skillsRisk and Opportunity analysis skillsDemonstrated expertise in understanding disclosure statements and classifying tasks/activities by appropriate ---color of money--- --- Direct, Overhead, Selling, Bid and Proposal (B&P), IRAD, and CapitalRequired EducationBachelor---s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related fieldThis position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.Business Unit ProfileRaytheon Intelligence & Space delivers the disruptive technologies our customers need to succeed in any domain, against any challenge.
