Posting Number:req4743 Department:All of Us Research Program Department Website Link:allofus.nih.gov/Location:Greater Phoenix Area Address:Phoenix, AZ USA Position Highlights:The University of Arizona Health Sciences (UAHS) is seeking an experienced Program Manager who will be responsible for monitoring program activities and progress in achieving required milestones, supporting overall administration and operations for a 5 years effort, the All of Us Research Program at University of Arizona and Banner Health.Jointly, between The University of Arizona and its clinical partner Banner Health, these activities are part of a national initiative which will contribute significantly to the development of a research cohort that will engage a million or more Americans who volunteer their health data over many years and participate in research projects to improve health outcomes, fuel the development of new treatments for disease, and catalyze a new era of databased and more precise preventive care and medical treatment.Reporting to the Associate Director, we seek an energetic candidate who will demonstrate competence and leadership; familiarity and excellence with highly technical, web-based systems; an understanding of clinical and/or research staff and programs, and competency in complex problem-solving and priority setting for all aspects of managing a large-scale program in a healthcare setting.The successful candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to analyze data and metrics for multiple sites while ensuring clear communication, sharing of information, and adherence to policies and values of the program and leadership.*Work from home: Due to COVID-19 part of the staff (as of this posting date) are working remotely within the State of Arizona. When safe to do so, staff might return to work from our Phoenix, AZ or Tucson, AZ locations. This position will require travel to one or more sites within and outside Arizona, with emphasis on the Phoenix and Tucson metro area on a regular basis. Out of state travel will be required with advance notice. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and schedule project work plans in accordance with specifications and NIH-approved milestones.
• Collaborate effectively with others to ensure appropriate progress and implementation of protocol(s) and milestones.
• Prepare or assist in preparation of proposals and reports.
• Analyze data in order to identify needed corrections and assure quality and timeliness of input.
• Conduct data-related inquiries to support Program initiatives.
• In collaboration with the PIs and program leadership, monitor program activities and progress ensuring that deadlines are met and reports are received in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and produce data reports using various data-mining techniques.
• Prepare draft responses to questions from constituents; as appropriate, develop, compile and write effectively to with constituents to convey or obtain information.
• Communicate program related issues to investigators, sponsors, coordinating centers, coordinators, clinical team, managers and other institutions in a timely fashion.
• Direct and move processes along with multiple players.
• Attend national and local weekly calls and meetings to ensure awareness and familiarity with program changes, regularly accessing and sharing information from these meetings and other cloud-based group platforms with team (including Confluence, Slack, ServiceNow, HealthPro Portal, and other tools).
• Support and ensure program evaluation is ongoing, as well as that process improvements resulting from evaluation are implementing in a timely fashion.
• Ensure efficient management of resources for optimal execution of operating protocols, while leveraging existing institutional infrastructure where appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned, including work directly related to general business operations - administrative functions. Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma and 8 years of relevant experience Or; Associate Degree n a field appropriate to the area of assignment and 5 years of relevant experience Or; Bachelor Degree in n a field appropriate to the area of assignment and 3 year relevant experience Or; Masters Degree n a field appropriate to the area of assignment and 1 year of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications:
  • One (1) year experience working with the All of Us Research Program.
