If you answered yes, we want to speak with you.In this most critical role of Patient Care Coordinator and Office Manager, a successful candidate is experienced in healthcare, preferably with both health insurance and a surgical private practice, elective medicine, is reliable, empathetic, kind, flexible, good-humored, well-groomed, and well-spoken with excellent customer service skills.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe primary responsibility is to ensure an optimal experience for the patients, staff, physicians, and vendors. Additional duties include but are not limited to:

  • Present fee quotes to patients for cosmetic surgery and other procedures
  • Structured follow-up with patients
  • Schedule surgery and collect payment for services
  • Understand the entire revenue cycle from obtaining correct patient information to ensuring claims are submitted timely and reimbursed appropriately by payers.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure the practice is running smoothly
  • Supervise and lead a small staff
  • Run reports including but not limited to A/R, CPT Frequency, Profit & Loss and respond appropriately, identify trends and potential problemsESSENTIAL SKILLS
    • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite as well as other software programs required
    • Treats patient care and customer service as a priority
    • Ability to run reports and ensure follow up from our state-of the art computer system on practice metrics
    • Multi-tasking with the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
    • Flexible and a team player
    • Detail oriented & quality focused
    • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and written
    • Ability to calm nervous patients while demonstrating an empathetic and compassionate demeanor
    • Promote teamwork in a collaborative and positive mannerEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
      • Previous experience in healthcare, elective medicine, aesthetics, dentistry, medical spa, or vision required
      • Some college or college degree preferred
        • Minimum five years of progressive work experience required
          • Three years customer service required
          • Experience with EMR & EPM medical software preferred
          • Bilingual in Spanish a plusBENEFITS
