Job Description:
The principal objective is to manage the annual giving program
for Arizona Athletics with a focus on acquisition and donor
retention. Work directly with Associate AD for Development and
Revenue Generation to manage comprehensive program to move donors
life cycle with goal of increasing membership and commitment to the
university. The University's strength in undergraduate education
and scientific research is paralleled by its excellence on the
playing fields, courts and other venues of its 21-sport
Intercollegiate Athletic Program. The Arizona Wildcats compete in
the tradition-rich Pacific-12 Conference, "The Conference of

and part-time staff including the Associate Director, Development
Operations and Benefits Fulfillment and Assistant Director,
Development Operations and Benefits Fulfillment. Manage and oversee
annual renewal campaign and gift invoicing. Manage and design a
creative annual giving strategic plan to increase number of Wildcat
Club members and dollars raised by reaching out to season ticket
holders, fans, and alumni. Utilize the follow strategies: Direct
mail, Email, Telephone Solicitation, Social Media, and Online
Solicitations. Create plans to segment solicitations for donors,
non-donors, lapsed donors, season ticket holders, alumni
Letterwinners, fans, parents, students, student-athletes, reunion
attendees, faculty and staff, among others. Responsible for
acknowledging annual gifts and online communication efforts. Manage
and create an annual giving budget. Eloqua-Mass Communication for
Wildcat Club & A Club: Creating and distributing mass emails for
both the Wildcat Club and the A-Club. Examples include, large scale
solicitations, A-Club monthly newsletters, event invites, parking
updates etc. This includes working with automated messaging and
strategic planning and execution of avenue. Coordinate and
integrate efforts with the University of Arizona Foundation Annual
Giving Program, as well as Marketing Department and Ticket Office.
Work collectively with all Wildcat Club and A-Club Letterwinner
staff to cultivate and steward donors. Donor acquisition and
retention. Regular phone calls and communication to renew and
solicit new donors. Serve as a liaison to the ticket office;
implement processes to ensure that data is up to date, oversee
coding for various fundraising initiatives and explore possible new
technology to aid in meeting fundraising goals. Develop and
implement a sports reunion gift campaign that correlates with
A-Club sport reunions. Oversee Wildcat Club/A-Club website and
manage vendor relationships with web provider. Content Creation:
Social Media: writing communication for social media and
solicitations for Wildcat Club; Photoshop/Canva: design collateral
pieces for the Wildcat Club and A-Club which will include social
and digital graphics, email design, event credentials, etc.
Statistically analyze the membership and provide reports on a
regular basis. Oversee in conjunction with direct report staff:
Giving Challenges; Foreign Trip Fundraising; The Wildcat Club
student-intern program; The faculty/staff campaign in conjunction
with the UA's UACares program; The Student Wildcat Club Program;
A-Club/Reunion Solicitations; Event marketing. Creatively utilize
student-athletes and alumni student-athletes in solicitations to
various constituents. Assist with Major Gift Support Services,
including regional prospecting and data-driven portfolio
management/optimization. Attend events when needed. Perform other
duties as assigned.
