Job Description:

We are searching for a Human Resource Director. This position is responsible for developing HR policies and/or procedures, overseeing the execution of operations, leading the alignment of HR strategies to organizational goals, and ensuring legal compliance and implementation of our company's requirements. Job Responsibilities:
Oversees the talent acquisition process of staffing, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to: -compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Oversees the consistency with employment/ hiring processes, orientations, training, performance reviews, termination processes, and proper filings to ensure all staff members stay in compliance with requirements.
Monitors and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to the leadership team.
Ensures training and development opportunities so that employees can achieve business goals.
Develops and implements departmental budget.
Ensures that all confidential staff materials are securely stored and that only authorized personnel has access to the information.
Assists with developing employee relationships and network opportunities.
Administrates the HR/Payroll system in conjunction with the Finance Director.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) is required.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; Master's degree is preferred.
At least 3 years of HR experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
An understanding of the non-profit field including the way funding and policies relate to successful organizations.
Familiar with local, state, and federal government terms and regulations.
Hours: 8am-5pm M-F

Benefits: Full benefits offered when permanent.
Pay Range: $22-$27/hr depending on experience.
