The Nursing Director of Telemetry oversee the MedSurg Telemetry department at Northwest Medical Center.

The Nursing Director of Telemetry oversee the MedSurg Telemetry department at Northwest Medical Center.

Oversees operations in order to maintain standards of patient care; advises management, patient care staff and administrators in matters related to nursing service. Directs the establishment and implementation of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance. Interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups.

As an organization leader, this position shares accountability for facilitating organizational and department goals using effective leadership knowledge, skills and abilities that ensure achievement of expected results for patient/customer service, employee engagement, financial health, business growth and quality and safety outcomes. The Director, Clinical Nursing Services is responsible for directing nursing services.

Education

Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Bachelors degree within 2 years of employment in the role
Preferred: Masters degree ( i.e. MSN, MHA or MBA)

Experience

Required: Five (5) years of relevant professional experience, including three (3) years in leadership

Licenses/Certifications

Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license and American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS and ACLS
Preferred: Nationally recognized certification in area of expertise
