You will be joining our project management team to deliver projects throughout Arizona. Our PM/E's currently manage job portfolios ranging from 2-4 projects with a total dollar value between $50K and $10M.We are looking for individuals with a desire to grow as our company grows. We offer a competitive salary, full company benefits package, and ESOP Vestment.The ideal candidate should have CMAR, Design-Build experience, strong communication skills with attention to detail, and be a team oriented individual. This position is based in our Tucson office. Successful passing of a drug test is required as a condition of employment. Roles & Responsibilities:Under limited supervision be able to complete project estimating/bidding, project start up, execution, and close out as noted below:
    • Project/Bid Evaluation
    • Go-No-Go
    • Bid Estimating; involves takeoff, contacting suppliers and subcontractors
    • Identify resource and appropriate allocations as required
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key contractors and vendors Project Start Up
      • Review suppliers and subcontract proposals and issues PO's and subcontracts
      • Compile and submit necessary material submittals, coordinate required permits, and health and safety documentation
      • Identify long lead items and critical path work
      • Develop Project baseline schedule
      • Develop schedule of value billing formatsProject Execution
        • Maintain Project baseline schedule & provide updates to project team, including vendors subcontractors, owners, and engineers
        • Collaborate with the Project Management Team to incorporate and document best practices and innovation
        • Work closely with Superintendent and Project Engineers to track work progress and daily cost analysis, identifying where production rates were met or may have fallen short, and proposing solutions where needed
        • Identify and price necessary scope changes and identify their schedule implications
        • Complete monthly invoicing, and project cost analysisProject Close Out
          • Complete final invoicing and waivers
          • Coordinate Redline drawings for submission
          • Compile and submit required client documentation, manuals, etc.Qualifications:
            • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience in the heavy civil construction industry applicable to horizontal and underground civil projects,
            • Knowledge with water mains, service lines, sewer lines, lateral lines, valve vaults, manholes, booster stations, pumping stations, deep excavation, earth work, grading, paving, concrete, etc.,
            • A two or four-year degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field of study preferred; prior industry experience will also be considered
            • Experience in Alternative Delivery Methods such as Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), Design-Build (DB) and Job Order Contracting (JOC) is desirable
            • Understanding of civil drawings and specifications including earthwork, utilities, and E&S controls
            • Use of BlueBeam is a plus
            • Familiarity with HCSS programs HeavyBid, and HeavyJob is a plus
