- Hire, direct, train, and supervise the sales team at the agency
level.
- Coach employees to overcome objections and work towards growth
goals.
- Monitor the growth and health of the sales team within their
territories.
- Maintain knowledge of community resources, providing
in-services and education to the sales team.
- Communicate with healthcare professionals regarding prospective
and current patients.
- Perform direct sales to key accounts.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with referral
sources, patients, families, healthcare professionals, and the
community to promote understanding of the hospice philosophy and
support patient care.
- Assist the Director of Admissions in managing the referral and
admission process to meet growth targets.
- Handle conflict resolution and address complaints as
needed.
- Develop an agency business plan with volume projections to
drive financial performance.
- Understand revenue drivers and design strategic sales
initiatives to meet growth goals.
- Use basic sales processes to identify customer needs and
barriers.
- Organize educational events, health fairs, and community
programs.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, ensuring compliance
through accurate documentation in the electronic health
record.

- Follow the employee Code of Conduct and Code of
Ethics.Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or
related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years' experience in healthcare sales
preferred.
