Director of Project Management Office The Director, Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for overall project management function, providing leadership, integration and management of PMO processes and functions to improve the consistency and efficiency of project delivery. The primary goal of the El Rio Health Director Project Management Office (PMO) is to support El Rio's Mission of providing comprehensive, quality health care that is affordable and accessible to all who may have healthcare needs, by successfully performing the primary essential functions. -- Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.Seven (7) years' experience as a Senior Project Manager, Program Manager or Portfolio Manager with a proven record of accomplishment of successful project delivery, an ability to improve project management practices.Seven (7) years' supervisory/management experience.Two (2) years of Healthcare experience.Expert-level knowledge of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches (e.g. Project and Portfolio Management Methodology --- (PPM, Agile Scrum, and LEAN).Experience in setting up Project Management Office (PMO). Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required.Employees in this position may be required to have reliable transportation that can meet any operational reassignments of the organization during the workday.-- If an employee is driving during work hours, the employee is required to possess a valid driver's license and must comply with Arizona vehicle insurance requirements. -- If applicable, equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, and must be directly related to the functions and responsibilities of the job. -- Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities: Master's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university.Ten (10) years' experience as a Senior Project Manager, Program Manager or Portfolio Manager with a proven record of accomplishment of successful project delivery, an ability to improve project management practices.Ten (10) ten years' supervisory/management experience. -- Core Competencies: Project ManagementScope ManagementChange Management and InnovationIntegration ManagementPeople ManagementEfficiency and EffectivenessConflict ResolutionNegotiationPerformance AssessmentCultural Competence and Adaptation -- Management Duties: Direct supervision of staff as assigned.Participates in recruiting, selecting, orienting and training staff as assigned.Schedules staff, conducts employee training, professional development and annual performance reviews as assigned.Accomplishes department objectives by planning and evaluating department activities and by managing staff. -- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
