We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse that focuses on
bringing understanding and peace to patients and their families
during what may seem like a confusing and challenging time. This is
a float position that requires travel between practice locations as

Responsibilities In your job, you will have the ability to make a
difference in a patient's journey by: Administer prescribed
medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
Assist with the preparation of equipment and aid physician during
examination and procedures. Observe, record, and report patient's
condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
Perform EKG and oximetry readings as required by physician. Obtain
blood specimens from peripheral sites as needed and in accordance
with OSHA and universal precautions. Phone in prescriptions and
make other patient calls as required or directed by physicians.
Maintain patient files, records, and other information. Initiate IV
fluids and IV therapeutic medications in accordance with LPN/LVN
state nurse practice act. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited program for practical nursing
education. Zero (0) to three (3) years of experience required,
preferably in an oncology environment. Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac
and Life Support) certification required within 3 months of hire.
Current LPN state license and registration with the State Board of
Practical Nursing in practicing state What You Bring to the Team:
Phlebotomy experience preferred. Experience and knowledge of the
purpose and use of medications in the treatment of cancer is
preferred. Demonstrate knowledge of reimbursement procedures and
charge capture. Demonstrate awareness of community resources
available to patients and assist with referrals if necessary.
Maintain current knowledge of oncology nursing by participating in
ongoing educational opportunities. The safety of our patients and
staff is our top priority. Masks are required in all Arizona
Oncology facilities regardless of vaccination status. Candidates
who accept employment including current employees who are applying
for internal positions, are required to provide proof of Covid-19
vaccination prior to their start date. Religious and medical
exemptions are available to those who meet the criteria.
