Our focus is on providing integrated care tailored to the specific requirements of young children with autism. /n Role Overview: /n As an OT at Soar, you will: /n - Implement naturalistic occupational therapy for children aged 2-6 years in a center-based setting, with a focus on autism - Craft interventions aimed at improving gross motor, fine motor skills, feeding practices, and daily living activities tailored to the needs of children with autism - Perform multidisciplinary assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical areas (ABA, speech therapy, psychology), including co-treatments with speech therapists - Mentor and guide a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to integrate OT goals into their therapy, enhancing their approach to autism care - Monitor the progress of clients, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate necessary adjustments to team members and families - Collaborate closely with families of children with autism, setting goals, building relationships, sharing progress, and providing coaching and support on their journey /n Qualifications: /n - A degree in Occupational Therapy with a focus on pediatrics or a similar field - Current licensure as a Occupational Therapist - Experience in working with children with autism or related developmental disorders - Strong understanding of and commitment to early intervention and integrated care approaches - Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a passion for supporting the growth and development of children with autism /n What You'll Get /n - Quality medical ($0 deductible), dental, and vision plans - A company 401K with company contribution after a year of service - 11 company holidays plus 15 additional days off - Options for 4x10 or 5x8 work schedules for full time OTs - A “Time for You” program to take extra time off work when you need it - Short-term disability for all staff covered by Soar - Student loan reimbursement assistance - Receive trainings and continuing education, and work with national experts in occupational therapy - Real multidisciplinary collaboration with a team of other autism care professionals.
