Job Description Responsibilities Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is actively seeking highly patient-centric physicians to join the Department of Family Medicine as a Core Faculty in the Dignity Health East Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in Gilbert, Arizona. Opportunity Highlights: - Outpatient Inpatient - Outpatient Mon-Fri days, Inpatient Tues-Mon days - Flexibility to work 4 longer days or 5 regular - Call is 1:4 or less (by telephone only) - Outpatient: 16 patient-facing hours, 16 precepting hours, 4 admin hours, 4 teaching hours per week - Inpatient: Every 4th week or less frequently, 1 week at a time x 7 days with compensation days provided (No outpatient duties during inpatient week) - Avg 18-24 patients per day on outpatient days - Great MA support RN onsite - Academic appointment at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix–Open rank based on prior experience and academic output - Academic appointment at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix–Open rank based on prior experience and academic output - Teaching Medical students, Physician Assistant Students, and other learners. - Opportunities to get involved in both sponsor and investigator initiated research projects What We Offer: - Competitive 2 year salary guarantee then RVU-based - Fully funded pension IN ADDITION TO 403B match - 24 days of PTA - CME Time - 5 Days - CME Allowance - Per-Occurrence based Med Mal (no need for Tail!) - Loan repayment through Bright Horizons (for qualified candidates only) Qualifications Requirements: - MD or DO Degree - BC/BE in Family Medicine - Completion of an ACGME accredited residency - A passion for teaching and providing clinically excellent care, prefer POCUS skills - Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure - Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals Overview Community Description Located southeast of Phoenix with a population of 267,918, Gilbert has a land area of 72.6 square miles and will have an anticipated population of over 300,000 by 2030.
