About The Position We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens opportunity in Arizona starting Dec 29, 2025. This assignment involves day shifts, Monday through Friday, in an outpatient primary care clinic within a hospital. Candidates should have at least 2 years of chronic care experience, with a strong emphasis on diabetes management. Job Details - Location: Arizona - Facility Type: Outpatient Primary Care Clinic (hospital-based) - Start Date: Dec 29, 2025 - LOA: 120 days - Provider Type Needed: Family Nurse Practitioner - Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, 40-hour weeks Responsibilities and Duties - Deliver primary care services in an outpatient clinic setting within the hospital - Manage chronic conditions with a focus on diabetes care - Provide patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care - Document all patient encounters using the RPMS electronic medical record system Additional Information - Minimum 2 years of chronic care experience required - Experience with diabetes management is important - IHS experience preferred but not required - Must hold Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) - Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) - Licensure: Any state license accepted Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
