Otolaryngologist to join our Department of Otolaryngology. This is
a unique opportunity to contribute to academic excellence while
delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in Tucson.
Qualifications: - Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in
Otolaryngology - Unrestricted Arizona Medical Licensure - DEA
license with current prescribing privileges - Commitment to
academic and clinical excellence - Interest and ability to help
teach and mentor otolaryngology residents/medical students -
Sub-specialty interest and/or fellowship training is welcome, but
not required Practice Highlights: - Clinical responsibilities
include outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, OR cases, and shared
call coverage - Work schedule: M-F, approximately 3 days clinic and
2 days OR per week - Average annual patient volumes: ~600 OR cases
| ~3,000 clinic visits - Practice call coverage: approximately 4
weeks per year - Maxillofacial trauma call coverage: optional for
extra pay The position will have a faculty appointment with the
University of Arizona, Tucson - Department of Otolaryngology-Head
and Neck Surgery consistent with the candidate's credentials. The
UA Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in Tucson
offers comprehensive tertiary and general ENT care to patients from
across Arizona; the department also provides otolaryngology
residency training as one of only two ACGME-accredited
otolaryngology residency programs in the state. Banner - University
