ICU RN Job Details - Assignment Type: Travel ICU Registered Nurse - Location: Tucson, AZ 85741 (Arizona healthcare jobs) - Facility Setting: Med Surg/Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Start Date: August 25, 2025 - End Date: November 24, 2025 - Contract Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts/week - Total Hours: 36 hours per week - Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule - Floating: Willingness to float to nearby healthcare facilities within a 25-mile radius (advance notice provided) - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1860 - $2210 Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona - BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required - Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (Med Surg/Neuro ICU preferred) - Proficient with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) - Ability to adapt and float to different hospital units as needed ICU RN Responsibilities - Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit - Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments - Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans - Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate advanced critical care equipment - Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations - Float to other hospital units or nearby healthcare facilities as required Discover the unique culture and natural beauty of Tucson, Arizona, while making a difference as a Travel ICU Registered Nurse.
