ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Schedule includes 3 shifts per week with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule • 13-week assignment with ASAP start date preferred within 2 weeks of offer acceptance • Must have telemetry experience to apply • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required • Required certifications: Arizona license, BLS, ACLS • Patient ratio typically 1:6 in departments, 1:4-5 in ED holding area • Any color scrubs acceptable • Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner • Float pool position requiring willingness to work between departments and four facilities • Facilities include Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita • Units include 2 Med Surg departments (Ortho/Neuro), Telemetry, and potentially PCU based on skill level • May provide care to admitted patients in ED holding area while waiting for beds • Typically assigned to one unit per shift with rare occasions of movement based on census • Utilize nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and provide leadership in care delivery • Delegate patient care priorities and supervise assigned personnel Facility: This healthcare organization operates multiple hospital locations providing comprehensive medical services including medical-surgical, telemetry, orthopedic, neurological, and progressive care units.
