About The Position We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 135-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Dec 1, 2025. This opportunity involves working in an outpatient primary care clinic within a hospital, with day shifts Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Recent outpatient clinic experience and familiarity with diabetes care are important for this position. Experience with Indian Health Service is preferred but not required. Job Details - Location: Arizona - Facility Type: Outpatient Primary Care Clinic (hospital-based) - Start Date: Dec 1, 2025 - LOA: 135 days - Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Physician - Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient clinic setting - Manage and treat patients with a focus on diabetes and chronic disease management - Conduct patient assessments, routine exams, and develop individualized care plans - Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care - Utilize the RPMS electronic medical record system for documentation and patient management - Adhere to clinical protocols and hospital policies Additional Information - Must have recent experience in an outpatient clinic environment - Experience with diabetes care is essential - Indian Health Service experience preferred, but not required - Licensure requirements are flexible (any state license accepted) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
