Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) night shift position requiring a current AZ or compact RN license, with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Responsibilities - Work in the Coronary Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital setting - Adult and geriatric patient population with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio - 40-bed unit combined with ICU but staffed separately - Specializes in procedures such as AVR, valve replacements, CABG, open triple A's, CRRT, and Impella, IABP, EKOS, bronchoscopy, EGD, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and burr holes - Tech support available on the unit - Night shift position with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - No on-call responsibilities - Primary focus on managing adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiovascular and critical care needs - Use of advanced equipment such as CRRT, Impella devices, IABP, and EKOS - Team environment with tech assistance - Navy blue scrubs required as dress code - Completion of required compliance training within 90 days of hire and annually - Holiday coverage may be required as needed - Travelers who have worked more than two assignments with Tenet must take a 12-month break before returning Requirements - Active AZ or compact RN license required - Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications - Previous CVICU or ICU nursing experience required - COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical or religious exceptions accepted) - Must be eligible to work at the facility per return policies regarding past assignments Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627536.
