The Department of Urology is seeking a BC/BE General Urologist or Endourologist to join our growing team of exceptional physicians. This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant team in one of the fastest growing areas of the country with brand new practice facilities including new outpatient clinic space and a newly opened 649 bed hospital. Qualified candidate will hold a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona commensurate with experience. Opportunities for clinical and basic science research are available for the interested candidate. Qualifications, Features and Functions: - Academic Urology position providing education and training of medical students and residents in both clinic and OR settings - Join group of 14 MDs and APPs with ongoing recruitments to meet strong patient demand - Clinical care of patients with complex kidney stones - Cases/Procedures include percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, treatment of BPH - Contemporary operating rooms with dedicated cystoscopy rooms - DaVinci DV5, Xi and SP robots available - Flexibility with schedule: 2/3 days in clinic weekly - Call schedule: 7 days call monthly with resident coverage - Average Clinical Patient Load: 20-25/day - with MA support - Valid AZ MD Medical License (or eligible to receive) - Desire to join the leading team providing Urologic care in the Southwest - Experienced candidates preferred but new grads will be considered Banner Benefits: You take care of others.
