Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/05/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ED Job Details: • Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (3x12 hour shifts) • Required to work 6 weekend shifts during the contract period • Must be willing to float to other units as needed • 2 years of nursing experience required • Charge nurse experience on day shift preferred • Work in a 38-bed emergency department • Trauma Level III hospital designation • Stroke receiving and STEMI receiving capabilities • Electronic medical record system: Cerner • Scrub color requirement: Black • NIH certification not required but recommended • Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department with trauma Level III designation and specialized capabilities for stroke and STEMI receiving.
