Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Chandler, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,189 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Chandler, Arizona, 85224! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience, including experience in either neuro or cardiovascular. License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 3 years of recent ICU experience - Experience with either neuro or cardiovascular patients - Ability to titrate various medications - Comfortable interpreting telemetry strips Description: This position requires a full 3 years of recent ICU experience to be considered. Experience must include neuro or cardiovascular. The unit has a mix of trauma, neuro, and surgical patients. Common diagnoses include: level 1 trauma cases, falls, gunshot wounds, blunt trauma, motor vehicle accidents, and other specialty neuro-surgery cases. RNs are responsible for titrating medications such as Propofol, Fentanyl, and others. Charge nurse duties are included; charge nurses do not take patients. There are no nurse aids on this unit, only sitters and health unit secretaries. RNs are required to interpret their telemetry strips as there are no monitor techs available in the unit. There is a self-scheduling option available, but the manager may need to balance shifts according to unit needs. Weekend requirements are 3 shifts in a 4-week schedule. May have one holiday off during an assignment. There is no additional call or standby requirement, though low census may occur. RNs are expected to float between different ICU areas as needed. Additional training may be provided for trauma, neuro, and specialty devices as required. Unit specific orientation will be provided for 1-2 days.
