Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Tucson, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,139 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Tucson, Arizona, 85712! Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years NICU experience required, Level III-IV NICU experience required License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS, NRP required Must-Have: EPIC experience required, Traveler experience required Description: Orientation is held twice a month. 13 weeks contract duration. 2 years of NICU RN experience is required. Level III-IV NICU experience is necessary. BLS and NRP certifications are required. EPIC charting experience is needed. No first-time travelers accepted. No local candidates within 75 miles. Patient ratio will be 1:3. The facility is a busy, high-volume delivery hospital. A neonatal transport team is available. RN will float to Pediatrics and PICU. 6 weekend shifts required per contract. No on-call shifts. Daily census is approximately 34 neonates. The unit has 41 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes therapy, respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary. Patient diagnoses include a range from prematurity to congenital conditions. Special procedures include hypothermia therapy. RN will float to Pediatrics and PICU as needed. Special equipment includes conventional ventilators and high-frequency oscillating ventilators. Travelers are expected to adhere to compliance rules. Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated. A supervisory reference is required. Candidates with one DUI older than one year may be considered.
