Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Cath Lab Job Details: • Adult Catheterization Lab RN position with varied work schedule • Interventional scrub experience highly preferred • Pediatric Cath Lab experience preferred but not necessary • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients • Provide direct patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards • Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data • Formulate and implement individualized patient care plans including discharge planning • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary healthcare team members • Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team personnel • Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in medical records • Participate in patient and family education • Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure • BLS certification required • Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required • Bachelor's degree preferred • Professional certification preferred • Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient care needs • Requires fine motor skills and adequate eye-hand coordination Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides advanced cardiovascular services including adult and pediatric catheterization lab procedures.
