Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an AZ or compact license and recent specialty experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital setting on Med/Surg and Telemetry units - Departments include Med/Surg (Floors 2, 4, 5) and Med/Surg/Tele Units - Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM - Patient care involves both medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring - No local travelers; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility - RTO requests must be less than 1 week - Required to provide patient care on multiple Med/Surg and Telemetry units as assigned - Returning travelers are accepted only if not permanent staff within the last 2 years - Compliance with all vaccination and hospital policy requirements is expected /n /n Requirements/n - Active AZ or compact RN license required at the time of consideration - Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg and/or Telemetry nursing - No certifications should expire within the first 30 days of the assignment - Must have at least 2 years of total nursing experience - No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months - Must not have worked as permanent staff at any facility in the health system within the past 2 years /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-648663.
