Registered Nurse (RN) | Direct Observation Unit Location: Chandler, AZ Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,978 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position ID: 73736879 Shift: 12H Nights Every other or every 3rd weekend first to float must work 2 of 3 major holidays Description: Unit 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.50 mile radius rule, must not live within 50 miles of the facility - must provide current driver's license with submitCANDIDATES CAN NOT HAVE WORKED PERM AT A CSH FACILITY WITHIN THE PAST 12 MONTHS - NO EXCEPTIONSCould float to sister facility, Mercy GilbertTravelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam through UNA (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS) within 24-48 hours of receiving offer. If they do not pass in 2 attempts, they will be made a DNU for CSH AZ & Sac regionsWill take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation. If traveler fails Sim, they will be sent home and made a DNU for 6 months for CS AZ facilities (except Yavapai) and CS Sacramento.- Unit: Observation- beds: 16 bed. It is an extension of ER.- Certs: BLS, ACLS required. Critical thinking skills a must.- Ratios: 0- Charge Nurse: Yes, 24/7- Nurse Aides: PCTs staffed per cesus for primary care.- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend.- Holidays: Will rotate with core staff.- Scrub Color: Navy- Vents: No vents, bipap, or cpap.- Hospitalist or Intesivist in house: Hospitalist covers call.- IV Team: No - RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes- Floating: Yes, to any tele/medsurg floor.- Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Chest pain r/o MI, post heart cath - no sheaths, stable pre-CABG, post IR and Endo procedures. Non-titration Amio, Cardizem, Labatolol.- Additional Notes: No ETOH withdrawl unless 3 days out. Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting BSN Required: License to Trauma Level:1 Care Shift other or every 3rd weekend first to float must work 2 of 3 major holidays Required , BLS, NIHSS Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Contract Weeks:91 Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Core Exam - Nursing Ishihara Colorvision Screening Observation RN Exam
