Job Description:

vast network of retail locations. As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart,
you will have the unique opportunity to apply your expertise in a
dynamic retail environment, working closely with patients to manage
their medication needs effectively. This role not only allows you
to provide essential healthcare services but also to participate in
a community-centric model that integrates pharmacy services with
holistic healthcare solutions. Dispense prescriptions accurately
while complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements
through diligent adherence to company procedures and policies.
Provide pharmacological information to a multidisciplinary health
care team while monitoring patient drug therapies to prevent
interactions, contraindications, and other related issues.
Administer immunizations and provide health screenings to improve
public health outcomes in the community. Counsel patients on the
proper use of prescription and over-the-counter medications. Manage
pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory,
accreditation, and licensing requirements. Conduct health and
wellness programs to educate the community on various health
topics. Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and interns to
ensure efficiency and accuracy in all pharmacy operations. Strong
knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacotherapy High level of
professionalism and customer service skills Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Ability to manage and prioritize tasks
effectively Experience with pharmacy information systems Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Valid and active Pharmacist license in the state of employment CPR
certification preferred Certification in Immunization Delivery
