Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona.
Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia
Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40
hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN
Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for
ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside
experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5
weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the
initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN
- PACU Job Details: • Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 10-12 on-call days required in a 6-week schedule period •
Floating to other units as needed • 2 years of nursing experience
required • Required certifications: Arizona nursing license, ACLS,
BLS, PALS • Any color scrubs permitted • Electronic Medical Record
system: Cerner • Provide post-anesthesia care to surgical patients
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and
surgical staff • Utilize nursing process in accordance with state
Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policies • Demonstrate
critical thinking skills and scientific judgment for safe patient
care delivery • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing
education • Delegate patient care priorities based on staff
education and experience • Provide direction and supervision of
assigned personnel Facility: This healthcare facility operates a
