Job Description Job Description We are seeking a dedicated andcompassionate Locums Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join awell-established pediatric team in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This flexible locumsopportunity offers PRN, part-time, or full-time options, with the ability towork half-day or full-day schedules, making it ideal for experienced PNPsseeking work-life balance without sacrificing meaningful clinical impact. This role involves providing high-quality,patient-centered outpatient pediatric care to children from infancy throughadolescence in a collaborative clinical environment. Position Details Schedule Options: PRN, Part-Time, Full-Time Shift Flexibility: Half Days or Full Days Practice Setting: Outpatient Pediatrics Patient Volume Average volume: 3–4 patients per hour Responsibilities Conduct routine well-child exams, developmental screenings, and immunizations Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric illnesses Educate patients and families on wellness, disease prevention, and health maintenance Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Arizona state laws Qualifications Current and unrestricted Arizona Nurse Practitioner license (or ability to obtain) National certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNCB or ANCC) Active DEA license with Arizona prescriptive authority BLS and PALS certifications required Ability to practice autonomously in an outpatient pediatric setting Nestled in the high desert ofsoutheastern Arizona, Sierra Vista offers stunning mountain views, year-roundoutdoor recreation, and proximity to historic landmarks such as Tombstone andKartchner Caverns.
