Job Description:

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner needed in Tucson, AZ Location: Tucson, ArizonaDuration: Ongoing while hiring (6 months to 1 year); 10 shifts per month of coverage needed. Board Certification: NNP Certified with related experience. NRP required. Schedule: NNPs are in-house 24/7. Neonatologist is in-house from 8a-5p and on call at night. Shift responsibility: Cover NICU and attend high risk deliveries. NNPs will occasionally help with newborn nursery if they've already seen the baby; however, it's mostly the Neos covering well-baby. Shift times: 7a-7aAnnual Births: 2,000 Average Daily Census: 9.5 in the newborn nursery; 10.8 in the NICUShift Responsibility: Deliveries, NICU, Newborn nursery, ConsultsEMR Type: Cerner, PremiEHR, and TPNNICU Level: IIEQ; 15-bedsLicense Requirement: Must be licensed in ArizonaPrivileges: 60 days, candidates with clean files preferred.
