Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 07/01/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 5x8hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: Jul 1, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute inpatient rehab experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Oro Valley, AZ, working Monday–Friday with weekend rotation. Details - Acute inpatient rehabilitation setting - Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday with 2–3 weekends per month - 13-week contract, 36 hours per week - Floating to sister facilities (Northwest Medical Center, NW Houghton, and NW Sahuarita) is required - Cerner EMR used; experience preferred Requirements - Minimum 1 year of recent acute inpatient rehab experience required - Active AZ Physical Therapist license required; license required if applicable - Current BLS certification required - Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date - No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information - Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability - Scrubs of any color are acceptable - RTO requests must be less than one week in duration - Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any facility within this health system in the past two years are not eligible for this position - A valid driver's license is required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-680812.
