The Department of Urology is seeking a BC/BE General Urologist to join our growing team of exceptional physicians. This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant team in one of the fastest growing areas of the country with brand new practice facilities including new outpatient clinic space and a newly opened 649 bed hospital. Qualified candidate will hold a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona commensurate with experience. Opportunities for clinical and basic science research are available for the interested candidate. Qualifications, Features and Functions: Academic Urology position providing education and training of medical students and residents in both clinic and OR settings Join group of 14 MDs and APPs with ongoing recruitments to meet strong patient demand Clinical care of patients with complex kidney stones Cases/Procedures include percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, treatment of BPH Contemporary operating rooms with dedicated cystoscopy rooms DaVinci DV5, Xi and SP robots available Flexibility with schedule: 2/3 days in clinic weekly Call schedule: 7 days call monthly with resident coverage Average Clinical Patient Load: 20-25/day - with MA support Valid AZ MD Medical License (or eligible to receive) Desire to join the leading team providing Urologic care in the Southwest Experienced candidates preferred but new grads will be considered Banner Benefits: You take care of others.
