The Front Desk Agent working with the Onin Group represents the guest's first formal introduction to the hotel or resort and therefore sets the tone for their vacation or travel experience. Upon checkout you are often the last meaningful interaction the guest will have with giving you the opportunity to leave a lasting impression on the guest. Being the first and last points of contact you become the brand ambassador. You can create a memorable and exceptional guest experience by igniting excitement for the property, dining options, and services and local community. sometimes overcoming a bad experience and reviving a client's faith in the brand after a difficult stay. Work Experience

Front Desk Agent Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk with a friendly, warm and courteous demeanor.
  • Perform all check-in and check-out procedures with guest satisfaction and experience in mind.
  • Answer guest inquiries and suggest entertainment and dining options to enhance guest experience.
  • Manage stressful situations with grace.
  • Take initiative on providing creative resolutions to customer service issues.
  • Stay up to date on all hotel communications to ensure accurate information is relayed to guests.
  • Liaise among hotel departments to ensure guest needs are anticipated and met.
    Skills and Experience
    • Skill in navigating computer systems efficiently and with ease.
    • Ability to multi-task while managing changing business priorities.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Advanced problem solving and creative thinking skills.
    • Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent preferred.
    • Experience with hotel reservations software preferred.
    • High level or luxury customer service experience welcome in lieu of hotel experience in combination with POS or CRM database software experience also suitable.
    • Ability to multi-task while managing changing business priorities.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Advanced problem solving and creative thinking skills.
