Purpose: Recruitment and HR Specialist is responsible for full
cycle strategic recruiting to implement and manage effective,
results-driven sourcing and recruiting that meets company
objectives.
The role includes continually sourcing qualified candidates from a
variety of resources,
coordinating, and conducting pre-screening interviews for open
positions within the organization
and, presentation of top candidates to hiring managers. This
position requires candidates with
considerable skill in recruiting and interviewing techniques in
order to attract, hire and retain the
best-qualified individuals while growing a strong talent
pipeline.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop pro-active sourcing strategies that support short and
long-term hiring needs
Build key talent pipelines through continuous sourcing and
attending relevant industry
conferences, professional group meetings and other events to target
top talent
Execute passive and active candidate sourcing
Build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with hiring and
operations managers,
HR Business Partner and Executives to identify skill, capability,
and roles required to
support the company goals and objectives.
Develop, implement, and maintain job descriptions and job postings
in the ATS and on a
variety of employment websites, and social media accounts, with
continual monitoring to
ensure content is fresh and ads are listing in the top pages of
search engines.
Coordinate and hosts regular hiring events and attend local
independent job/career fairs to
drive and generate qualified applicants to HSL.
Partner with local organization to continually develop recruiting
resources.
Stay up to date in the recruiting field and develop new innovative
solutions to stay ahead
of the competitionResponsible for ensuring integrity and compliance
in interviewing conducts pre-
screening to obtain work history, education, training, job skills,
and salary requirements
ensuring compliance with federal, state and local employment laws,
and company
policies.
Coordinates, schedules and refers qualified applicants to hiring
managers for interviews,
throughout the organization
Assists with reference checks, background investigations, making
job offers, and
coordinating/scheduling start dates and onboarding paperwork.
Maintains records for applicant tracking and recruiting activities
as required
Assist with special projects as needed
Other duties as assigned
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws,
regulations and
company policies
Requirements
B.S. or B.A. in related fields OR equivalent work experience
1-3 years in a strategic talent acquisition function and experience
with full-cycle
recruitment and/or recruitment coordination and support.
Ability to foster relationships with a diverse workforce
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all
levels of management and
associates
Must be able to track and manage multiple projects and/or
high-volume recruitment
workload
Bilingual skills a plus
Qualifications:
Knowledge of principles, practices, and standards of Human
Resources and Recruitment
Must possess excellent organization, tracking, and follow up
skills
Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, and computer
skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines on
deliverables
Self-starter with a sense of urgency who works well under pressure
in a fast-paced
environment with multiple and sometimes changing priorities
Strong sense of professionalism and ability to develop
relationships
Extremely perceptive, positive, and capable of relating to
individuals at all levels of the
organization
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
Motivated and a creative problem solver with the ability to
organize and prioritize work
Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials,
establishing priorities,
and meeting deadlines

and contribute to the
overall success of department and organization.

Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations in assigned
areas
Required Education and Experience
High School Degree/GED
1-3 years progressive experience in recruiting
Technical or Administrative Knowledge: Hands-on experience with
Applicant Tracking
Systems and/or Candidate Management Systems
