Join our team and see why we have been named a ---Best-In-State--- credit union, four years in a row!Location: 971 W Wetmore RoadSalary Range: 50K-75K/yearJob Summary:Shares in performing business systems production schedule tasks and maintenance. Assists with the management of users and access permissions to these systems based on roles and requirements. Assists in the management of these systems based on requirements from associated vendors. Coordinates with other teams and related vendors to test and implement new or enhanced application changes or updates.--Serves as secondary point of contact and receives, documents and coordinates problems reported to the IT helpdesk; troubleshoots, diagnoses and resolves second-level software and peripheral problems and creates IT trouble tickets in the system for assignment to the next technician available for a site visit; refers more complex problems to senior staff for resolution or coordinates repairs with vendors; advises and assists users with technical issues related to business systems software and peripherals.--Assists with assuring that all production data are safeguarded through regular and redundant backups; coordinates on-site and off-site storage, transportation,--and rotations to guarantee multiple levels of recovery capability.--Provides support for Help Desk technicians quickly and efficiently. Creates materials for end-user frequently asked questions (FAQs).--Performs other duties as assignedExpectations:

  • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with Hughes procedures, compliance, regulatory and information security requirements.
  • Assist with the installation of application patches, releases and enhancements on production, development, training and disaster recovery systems, following IT Change Control guidelines.
  • Provide application administration support
  • To anticipate system and network security/integrity risks and assure adequate safeguards.
  • To assist the department in achieving an internal service survey score of 4.25 or greater.
  • Meet assigned service standards.Knowledge and Skills:Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of IT Systems support or related experience.
    • Understanding of IT Systems, configurations, best practices and methodologies and their executionEducation:
      • High School or GED minimum, IT systems training preferred.
      • Post secondary degree or certification encouraged Interpersonal Skills:A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.-- Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.-- Work may involve motivating or influencing others.-- Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.Other Skills:
        • Previous IT systems experience including networks, PC---s and data communications
        • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software problems and failures of varying difficulty efficiently and effectively.
        • Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with other IT professionals, as well as, non-technical users.
        • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
        • Ability to work both independently with sole responsibility and as part of a team to deliver quality work product in a timely fashion in a fast-paced environment
        • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects with good judgment
        • Ability to exercise excellent professional judgment
        • Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
