About Us:At Raytheon Missiles & Defense, fresh thinking and possibilities are forged in times of change and you will be on the front lines as we trailblaze new approaches, push the boundaries of innovation and chart a course to a tomorrow you can be proud to have a hand in creating.Within Systems Integration and Test, (SI) the Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) RF Systems Department has the responsibility of designing, developing, and maintaining engineering test systems (missile flight simulators) that operate real-time and closed loop with the weapon's hardware and software. These systems provide valuable feedback to the developers and allows them to verify their requirements and software on engineering hardware, Unit Under Test (UUT). The HWIL facilities provides a test platform that simulates missile flight tests saving the company millions of dollars. We value diverse skills and experience, so don't hold back. Job Description: You will participate in integrated engineering teams, which perform the hardware design and software required to emulate the flight environment for the advanced missiles Raytheon produces.Responsibilities to Anticipate: Common software tasks on these teams include the following activities:+ Design and develop software for engineering test solutions such as Software Evaluation Stations (SWES), Computer in the Loop (CIL) and Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) facilities+ Creating and developing test plans, requirements, and unit-test for software products+ Developing and integrating software into facility to ensure run-time integrity+ Following established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products+ Working within multi-disciplinary teams dailyQualifications You Must Have:+ Bachelor of Science (Math, Engineering or Computer Science) and a minimum of 2 (two) years of software development experience,+ Experience developing and implementing high-order, object-oriented programming languages such as C+++ Experience utilizing software debugging tools to troubleshoot software implementation and ensure integrity of the software products (MS Visual Studios, Linux (GDB))+ Experience and knowledge in computer scripting language such as MATLAB/Shell/Perl/Python+ Experience with Linux or Unix (Real-Time Operating Systems)+ Experience with Software Configuration Management (GIT) and ADSResponsibilities we Value:+ Experience developing software for real-time control of events and/or synchronization+ Experience in Multi-Threaded Software development principles+ Experience developing software for hardware control, including common computer hardware interface and data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RS-422, USB, PCI, and RIO+ Good oral and written communication skills+ Ability to work well in teams and have the ability to multi-task What We Offer: Whether you're just starting out on your career journey or are an experienced professional, we offer a robust total rewards package that goes above and beyond with compensation; healthcare, wellness, retirement and work/life benefits; career development and recognition programs.
